02 | 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002 |
03 | 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) |
04 | 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) |

Is UTET valid for lifetime?
ANSWER (1) The UTET certificate is now valid forever. Ramesh Pokhariyal, Indian Education Minister has announced that the validity of the TET certificate is extended for a lifetime. Earlier the validity of the certificates was 5 years.
How many marks are required to qualify for UTET?
ANSWER (1) The minimum qualifying marks for the UTET exam are as follows: – For General and OBC candidates: 60% marks (90 marks out of 150) – For SC/ST candidates: 55% marks (82 marks out of 150) Candidates who score equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks are considered to have qualified the UTET exam.
